About H&Q

What started out in 2024 as a fun way to preserve the beautiful flowers my mom grew in her garden soon blossomed into something much bigger. As the founder of Hawthorn & Quinn, I soon discovered a passion for taking meaningful blooms and creating timeless keepsakes. We are truly honored and so grateful for each and every customer who entrusts us with their beautiful bouquets from weddings, special events, memorials, and gardens.

We are located just outside of Cleveland and accept local bouquet drop offs from all over Northeast Ohio, as well as shipped orders from anywhere in the U.S. No matter where your flowers come from, we are honored to help preserve the memories that they hold.

About the Owner

Hi, my name is Allie! I am the owner of Hawthorn & Quinn. I am an Air Force veteran, mom of two, and firefighter wife. I am used to crazy schedules and busy days - and I love it. When I am not in my studio you can find me at the kids' sports practices, a local farmers market, or on the couch with a pint of Ben & Jerrys and a true crime documentary on the TV.

I was born and raised in Cleveland, moved around the east coast a bit, and then landed back in the area about a year before starting H&Q. After spending years watching my mom dedicate so much time and effort to her garden, we decided to brainstorm ways to preserve her beautiful flowers. We started with drying flowers and preserving them in epoxy resin and soon learned the art of drying flowers three dimensionally and many classic flower pressing methods. Not long after, a friend reached out to me asking if I would press her wedding bouquet into a frame and I thought "Why not?". Since then, I have truly found so much joy in learning the ins and outs of this craft and finding the best ways to preserve the individual beauty of each flower.
